Supported by the Busan Cultural Foundation's Busan Arts & Culture Support Program, Minseok Kang's 12th solo exhibition was held from October 6 to 12 at the BNK Busan Bank Gallery. Presented under the theme The Big Bang: Identity No.2, the exhibition saw Kang explore his inner world through a metacognitive lens.
The works express the artist's inner world through distorted automobile figures. In particular, the Endless Force and Timeleap series are composed around the theme of the artist's anxieties and conflicts about the future.
By combining distorted automobile figures with the shape of contemporary life, the artist reveals the identity of his inner self. His works do not stop at expressing conflict; one can sense in them the effort to overcome and reconcile the conflicts within.
