CAUTION — A Signal Raised Before the Boundary of Emotion
CAUTION, an exhibition curated by CONTINUE AUCTION, is held from March 26 to April 8, 2025, at 42 Samseong-ro 122-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Seven mid-career and young artists, including Minseok Kang, take part, presenting works that visually interpret various cross-sections of contemporary society through each artist's own sensibility and viewpoint.
The title CAUTION holds the signal — and the room for reflection — that the artists seek to convey through art, amid the boundaries of emotion, unstable identity, and shifting memory and time that contemporary people face. The exhibition is organized under the direction of curator Kim Chae-yong, while Eom So-yeon, director of CONTINUE AUCTION, leads the flow of the exhibition space and its artistic direction. At the entrance, a "CAUTION ZONE" is installed, introducing the participating artists' signature works, working processes, materials and techniques, and portfolios to deepen viewers' immersion.
Minseok Kang · Twenty Works from the Endless Force · Time Leap · Paint Desert · Ice Cream Series
Minseok Kang submits twenty paintings and three-dimensional works from the Endless Force, Time Leap, Paint Desert, and Ice Cream series. Taking the automobile as his object to express speed and time, inner emotion and desire, he presents a formal language crossing between the flat and the three-dimensional through material experiments with acrylic, squeegee, and embroidery floss.

Ice Cream Series — The Figure of Fleeting, Sweet Memory
The Ice Cream series builds a sensory and humorous narrative through sculptural objects and media works that give form to fleeting, sweet memory. It invites reflection on the emotions, memories, and fleeting moments of happiness of contemporary people passing quickly by, and proposes the possibility of an art that can be reinterpreted and preserved within the digital world.
